PVD Coating, finish, Colors and styles
PVD coating (physical vapor deposition) is the process in which a solid material is vaporized in a vacuum and deposited onto the surface of the fixture. These compound materials are deposited atom by atom, forming a thin, bonded, metal surface layer that greatly improves appearance and durability.

Resistant to rust and corrosion, chrome is both cost effective and easy to clean. The graceful chrome-plated finish is created through electroplating, which applies a liquid metal coating through electro deposition. As the deposited metal fuses to the base material, the refined and durable finish created is Stern’s collection default.
Powder coating is a finishing process in which a coating is applied electrostatically to a surface as a dry powder before heat is used to finalize the coating. The powder forms chemical bonds in the process, creating a flexible, durable finish that is highly resistant to corrosion, flaking, and scratching. Exceptionally versatile and easy to clean, powder coating does not show dirt, water spots, or fingerprints.
